Catherine White and David Furney were united in marriage on June 11, 2016. The ceremony was held at Frog Pond, Skaneateles, with the Honorable George Betts officiating the ceremony.

Given in marriage by her mother, Catherine White Bush, White is also the daughter of the late Milton White and the granddaughter of the late Helen and Jack Muldoon. The bride was attended by Kimberly Armani as maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Katie Furney, Rebecca Youmell, Kelsey Armani and Caelyn Bellerose.

The groom is the son of Gerald and Kim Furney, of Jordan. Jason Furney, twin brother, served as best man. Groomsmen included Ed Derck, Jesse Cases, Matthew Shorney and Michael Feurstein.

Catherine received her bachelor's and master's degrees from John Hopkins University and her Doctor of Medicine from Upstate Medical University, and she is a resident at Upstate Medical Center.

David graduated from Onondaga Community College, with a bachelor's degree from Binghamton University and a master's from Loyola University. He is a mathematics instructor at Onondaga Community College.

Both are graduates of Jordan-Elbridge High School.

Cate and Dave will visit Iceland this summer.
