AUBURN - Mary A. Tabaczyk, 83, of Auburn, died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2005, in a local nursing home.
Mrs. Tabaczyk was born in Auburn, the daughter of the late Ignatious and Elsie Prego Trojnar. Mrs. Tabaczyk was a lifelong resident of the city of Auburn. Mary was a retired employee of General Electric of Auburn with more than 32 years of service. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth Church and was a member of the Altar and rosary society.
Mrs. Tabaczyk is survived by her husband, Frank; her son, Michael, and his wife, Florence Tabaczyk, of Syracuse; several grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Mrs. Tabaczyk was predeceased by her sons, Gerald, in 1991, and David, in 2002.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tabaczyk will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2005, at St. Hyacinth Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Fleming. Family and friends are invited to call from 2 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2005, in the Heieck-Pelc Funeral Home, 42 E. Genesee St., Auburn. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to St. Hyacinth Church Memorial Fund, 61 Pulaski St., Auburn, NY 13021 in memory of Mary.
