It looks like state Assemblyman Brian Kolb will have an opponent this year.
The Cayuga County Democratic Committee announced it has endorsed Noah Sargent, of Clifton Springs, to challenge Kolb, R-Canandaigua, in the 129th District.

Sargent is a radiology technologist at Clifton springs Hospital & Clinic. In 2006, no one ran against Kolb, who started in the Assembly in 2000.

The district has a population of 126,644 and includes parts of Cayuga, Cortland, Onondaga, Ontario and Seneca counties.
