Unity House of Cayuga County Inc. has relocated its Mental Health Services and Programs' Drop-In Center from 90 Franklin St. to 38 E. Genesee St., in Auburn.
The move is a result of a space-sharing partnership between Unity House and the Calvary Food Pantry of Central New York Inc.
Hours for the drop-in center at the new location will be 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays. The center will also have a new phone number, 252-1039, effective June 2.
Unity House is a human services agency that provides transitional and permanent housing, rehabilitative, and employment services and programs to people who have developmental disabilities, mental health illnesses, and those recovering from chemical dependencies.
The center offers an environment where people can learn social interaction skills, engage in scheduled activities, consume daily meals and gain staff advocacy essential to their well-being.
