Nucor takes title

Nucor became the Little League National Division champs by defeating Bouley, 5-2 on Tuesday.
Aaron Messina and Justin Valentino combined on the mound for Nucor with a three-hitter.

At the plate for Nucor, Cody Ladisair went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a single, Jack Hensel earned a triple, Aric Iaia contributed a double, Erik Baim tallied two hits and John Rizzo and Christian Bozek each singled.

Pacing Bouley's was Connor Tereyck and Matt Netti who each ripped a double while Mikey Charles posted a single.

Auburn 11, Seneca Falls 4

Matt Brooks pitched earning the win throwing six strikeouts with Jake Cooney adding two in the last inning.

Brooks also led at the plate hitting a triple, Mike Foltz went 2-for-4 with a double, Conor Herr was 3-for-4 with two home runs and four RBIs, Mike Gentile contributed four runs, Ryan Ringwood belted a two run homer and Kevin Gauthier went 2-for-2.

Cody Ladisair and Ringwood played excellent defense for the Auburn squad.

BOYS AND GIRLS

Reflections Dermatology Red Sox 21, Gaston-Moore Photography Twins 12

Isaac Colella hit a grand slam for one of his four hits recorded and Ben O'Hearn also belted four hits to lead the Red Sox. Also swinging well for the Red Sox with three hits each was Connor Davia, Savannah Matheson, Makayla Titus, Jimmy Bennink, Taylor Lansbury and Jack Bennink.

Riley Besner, Josh Page and Lexie Fluschutz hustled well on the Red Sox defense.

Pacing the Twins was Addison Gremli who contributed three hits and Nick Major added two hits.

Sal Rizzo and Austin Martinez both performed well defensively for the Twins.

Daddabbo's Indians 19, Auburn Police Department Yankees 17, extra innings

Leading the Indians was J.J. Wilmot, Cooper Wilson, Andrew Boglione and Giovanni Pettigrass who contributed four hits apiece. Matt Reed, Isabella Amoia and Josh Kowaleski each added three hits.

Pacing the Yankees was Jilianne Ervolina and Jacob Steinbacher recording four hits each while Mike Riordan and Kassie Hunt belted three hits apiece.

Mackenzie Wise, Josh Steinbacher and Sara Szozda played well on defense for the Yankees.

Byrn's Trophy and Sports Padres 22, Daut's Braves 18

John Ryan, Brian Love Jr. and Kevin Stechychak each earned multiple hits to lead the Padres' offense.

Anchoring the defense was Joe Sabine and Paul Fallon who each recorded an unassisted double play.

Pacing the Braves at the plate was James Roeschlaub belting a double and a triple while Meghan Wiseman and Ben McGlaughlin each had multiple hits.

The Braves' defense was led by Marley Plish.

SANDLOT

Byrne Dairy 14, Mark's Pizzeria 9

Leading Byrne Dairy was Austin Jenner who hit a three-run home run, Mitch France added a triple while Peyton Mackenzie pitched well and helped out on defense and Stephen Giloolly belted a single and played well on defense.
