Authors bring ‘Finger Lakes' knowledge to Creekside appearance

Historians Charles R. Mitchell and Kirk W. House will speak at the Sherwood Inn in an engagement arranged by the Inn and Creekside Books & Coffee.
Mitchell and House have assembled images from the Schuyler County Historical Society, the International Motor Racing Research Center of Watkins Glen and private collections. Mitchell, formerly a professional photographer, is curator of the Oliver House Museum. House, the former director-curator of the Glenn Curtiss Museum, is a member of the Schuyler County Historical Society and other historical groups. Together and alone, they have written histories on Bath, Corning, Hammondsport, Keuka Lake, Penn Yan and aviation subjects.
