Downing's jersey to be auctioned

Los Angeles Riptide midfielder and Auburn native Greg Downing will have his Major League Lacrosse all-star jersey auctioned online to benefit the Special Olympics.
Downing scored one goal and had four ground balls in the Western Conference's 31-15 victory last week. Each player in the game autographed their jersey following the game. All all-star jerseys will be auctioned online at www.majorleaguelacrosse.com/fanzone/auctions/ through Aug. 15.
