Joey Robinson, of Skaneateles, helped the Central boys tennis team win 3-2 over Adirondack in the Scholastic Division of the New York State Empire Games in Binghamton, Saturday. Robinson won his doubles match 6-0, 6-0 to earn the silver medal.

Keith Buehler scored the go-ahead goal in the third period to seal a 2-1 win over Hudson Valley for the Central boys lacrosse team. It was his third goal for the Empire State Games, while Auburn's Zach Marginsky and Thomas Trowell are also part of the team.

Pat Mott scored four points in Central's 103-85 win over New York City. On Thursday, Mott scored two points and Friday he added three points in a win. Saturday's win advances Central to the medal round. If they win today, they will take home a gold medal.

Hudson Valley handed the Central girls basketball team its first loss in a close 67-62 game.

Central was up by three heading into the second half, but failed to hold on to the lead. Kelly Grinnell finished the game with a 3-pointer.

Auburn's Marissa Slayton was a part of the Central girls soccer team's 2-1 win against Hudson Valley.

The Central girls lacrosse team fell in a nail-biter 8-7 to Long Island.

Auburn's Kaitlyn Aldrich and Skaneateles's Madelaine Morrissey are part of the team.

Tim Davis, of Skaneateles, finished in fifth place for the Open Division of the Canoe/Kayak K-1 200m finals (54:44).
