Joey Robinson, of Skaneateles, helped the Central boys tennis team win 3-2 over Adirondack in the Scholastic Division of the New York State Empire Games in Binghamton, Saturday. Robinson won his doubles match 6-0, 6-0 to earn the silver medal.
Keith Buehler scored the go-ahead goal in the third period to seal a 2-1 win over Hudson Valley for the Central boys lacrosse team. It was his third goal for the Empire State Games, while Auburn's Zach Marginsky and Thomas Trowell are also part of the team.
Pat Mott scored four points in Central's 103-85 win over New York City. On Thursday, Mott scored two points and Friday he added three points in a win. Saturday's win advances Central to the medal round. If they win today, they will take home a gold medal.
