The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office arrested two men last week after detectives investigated allegations that they sexually assaulted two minors during separate incidents.
Nathan Hale, 19, of 1066 Maple St., Genoa, was arrested on July 21 after an ongoing investigation charged him with felony second-degree rape, detectives said. Hale is accused of raping a 14-year-old girl over an extended period of time in March.
Hale was arraigned in the Town of Genoa Court, where bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
Also arrested was Nicolas Odekerk, 19, of 11 Summit St., Fort Edward, on charges that he sexually abused a 14-year-old boy in Sennett on four separate occasions, detectives said.
Odekerk was arraigned in Town of Sennett Court on July 23, and was sent to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of bail, which was set at $1,000 cash or $2,000 bond.
Hale was arraigned in the Town of Genoa Court, where bail was set at $10,000 cash or $20,000 bond.
