Demons, Kervin lead D-days to win

Bryan Kervin and Chris Demons each had two hits and two RBIs as the Auburn Doubledays topped the Jamestown Jammers 6-3 Tuesday.
Castillo Perez had another quality start for Auburn, allowing one earned run and seven hits in five innings. He picked up the win.

Bobby Bell pitched a perfect ninth for his fifth save.

Brian Van Kirk hit his third home run of the season and also finished with two hits.

The Doubledays (23-16) move within three games of first-place Jammers. The rubber game of the series is tonight at 7 p.m. in Jamestown.
