Sharon Cerio remembered as great asset for students

Friday, August 1, 2008 11:40 AM EDT

We would like to take this opportunity to express our deepest sympathy to the family of Mrs. Sharon Cerio. We had the pleasure of knowing Sharon from our time at Owasco Elementary School during the years our children attended there. Sharon was our son's teacher's aide for a few years and we can honestly say that if it were not for her sense of humor, her warm smile and her compassion, our son would not have done as well as he did. It was her that he sought out every morning to make sure that his day would go smoothly and she made sure that it did.
This year our son will be a sophomore at AHS and is a high honor student and a member of the baseball team. Every year he makes sure that he has a “Mrs. Cerio” to go to.

We would like to thank her family for sharing her with us. We could all use a “Mrs. Cerio” in our lives - someone who could always figure out a way to make a day go smoothly.

Love never forgets. Memory Eternal.
