Presidential race a circus, affront to our forefathers

Wednesday, October 29, 2008 11:47 PM EDT

At this point in the presidential campaign, I have had it! A $2,000 silk suit does not change my opinion of the men or the lady.
I feel the money they are spending on private jets, limos and TV ads could feed the hungry children in America. Everyone has a TV set. If the candidates made a couple of speeches at different times of the day for one week, we would all have the information we need.

I think our forefathers would be very unhappy to see the circus this campaign has turned into. None of the above mentioned items would have made any difference in some of our best presidents!

" One could also argue that Palin associates with radicals from her time with the witch doctor and whatever else goes on in her church to her ties to the secessionist Alaskan Independence Party. We all have associations we may or may not be proud of.
Those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones...Intelligence, consideration, compassion, insight, honesty, personal integrity, fairness, the ability to see all sides of an argument are a few things that separate the real leaders from the wannabees. Experience is really only a small part of potential success in a leadership role. Many leaders in the private sector do not have decades of experience, but have other qualities that propel them ahead. "

" oh quest, such extreme words.Obama represents the better part of what this country stands for: study hard, work harder, and the sky is the limit. Some folks just need a bit more help to get their start. He's not gonna ruin your life, but fear might. "

" Obama will destroy everything that this country stands for?!? huh? hasnt DubYa and Cheney and all the other republican "take from the poor, give more to the already rich" crowd already almost done that? "

" VOTE EXPERIENCE!
NOT for a man who surrounds himself w/ radicals!

Obama will destroy everything that this country stands for. Say goodbye to our way of life, get ready to be living as the socialists in france live, with high unemployment and no reason to work hard, because there will be no chance for promotion. "

" Marilyn: SO TRUE!!
I was just saying this morning, how I am looking forward for this election to end..it seems like its been going on for years, actually it has! Obama started some 21 months ago!!

it would be even better if they dedicated just ONE channel to political news.
the commercials are NOT giving information, simply slam-fest sessions, which is not going to change a persons mind on who they plan to vote for!

I honestly dont think the issue of 'who's wearing what and how much its costing' if there wasnt a FEMALE in the running.

5 days to go! "
