A Moravia woman was listed in critical condition Tuesday after her she lost control of her car and hit a tree as she drove north on Town Line Road in Skaneateles at 3:34 p.m. Monday, state police said.
Troopers said Faith Ennis, 18, of Route 34 A, Moravia, was unconscious when she was airlifted to University Hospital to undergo emergency surgery on Monday.

Investigators do not know what caused Ennis to lose control 1999 Pontiac Sunfire and roll it before hitting a tree in a swampy area, troopers said.

The car was completely demolished as a result of the crash, troopers said.

While investigators are still waiting to interview Ennis, troopers said they believe she was traveling to Skaneateles because she was scheduled to be working at the time of the crash.
