" "Treated and released"
+
the awkward wording of the previous article "hit with a shotgun projectile"
+
the fact that he was charged with "attempted assault"
=
I think he was not hit with the bullet, maybe some wadding? "

" Scouty, I didn't read one post that ever mentioned anything about the race of the accused, maybe your just racist? "

" Unreal..... this town is getting VERY VERY bad. What happened to the old neighborhoods? Gone to the dirt bags, and it is only getting worse. Send them all back to where they came from.."free bus" out of town. Sad that the old timers and good working class people have to live with these "Bums" and ruin the good old areas of Auburn. So "Hang'm High" "

" I'm still trying to figure out why the charges are for "attempted" assault, when clearly, the shooter HIT someone with a bullet -- in other words, the "attempt" was successful, so should the charge not be ASSAULT, if not "attempted murder?" "

" Teacher1, great comment, but add one more thing, when the lowlife is released from prison, send them back to where them came from, why should the state dump all their trash on Auburn. "

" the bail should of been 50,000 & the bond 100,000. this is a case of atemped murder. Auburn better nip this in the bud. Or they'll be seding the message that the fines are worth the crime. teacher1 i agree w/ u "

" I can say that Leslie didn't move to Auburn for an inmate, her job would surprise you, her actions surprised me. She actually has a good job and has been a productive member of society....why she did this with these hoodlems...beyond me...probably some kind of revenge, but that doesn't justify it. "

teacher1 wrote on Jun 11, 2009 4:31 PM:

" Hmmm....anyone want to bet they have some connection to an inmate at the prison? When is the state going to realize that they need to go back to moving inmates around when their family follows? I realize that the prison is necessary, but it is not necessary to bring criminals' families along for the ride. Not only are we, taxpayers, paying for this inmate, but..let's be honest...those family members are not exactly the gainfully employed, fend for yourself types. "

" Octoberic- Why don't you direct your question to The State of New York Legislature and The Dept. of Corrections? I am sure that they are to blame for this. "
