Matty, Petrosino lead Bryant University to shutout victory

Danielle Matty and Ariana Petrosino each had a goal to lead the Bryant University team to a 2-0 win over Notre Dame in the college division of the Auburn Arsenal Girls Soccer League Thursday. Carissa Hylawa finished with an assist, while Jillie Alberici and Gab Hastings led the defensive efforts.
Nia Boothman and Allison Colella led Notre Dame's defensive efforts.

Cornell Big Red 7, Florida Gators 0

Emma Nolan led the Big Red with two goals and three assists, while Mia Picciana recorded a hat trick. Meghan Ward and Emma Solomon each had a goal, while Ward also assisted a goal. Solomon and Deanna Palmer led the defense.

The Gators Dori Masters and Makenna Wilson powered the defense.

Clemson Tigers 5, Syracuse Orange 1

Lindsay May's three goals and defensive efforts helped the Tigers. Caroline Munn also scored two goals, while Emily Botindari had an assist. Claire Schiener's defensive efforts also played a big part like May's.

Caitlin Loving scored a goal for Syracuse with the assist coming from Kaeshia Harris. Gracie Hanes and Samantha Lesch led the defense.

Duke Blue Devils 5, Le Moyne Dolphins 1

Isabella Amoia led the Blue Devils' offense with four goals. Kaitlyn Diego had a goal and an assist to contribute. Claire Alexander and Caroline Netti led the defense.

Grace Baranick scored a goal for the Dolphins, while Victoria DeJoy had an assist. Samantha Sizon and Nikki Gray led the defense.

WORLD CUP DIVISION

Argentina 4, Spain 1

Jenna Alberici and Emma Blodgett each scored two goals for Argentina.

Grace Bachman led them with a team-high two assists, while Marguerite Cuddy and Caitlin Miller each had an assist. Kyrsten Karschner led Argentina with four saves, while Beth Donaldson had three. Cuddy and Lucy Gentile also helped out defensively.

Julia Rescott scored Spain's lone goal. Isabella Siddall finished with five saves, while Marissa Bachman and Marissa Pannetti led the defense.

Hungary 4, Chile 1

Maggie Ryan led Hungary with two goals and two saves.

Olivia Amoia and Kaylee Fallat each scored a goal. Lily Krause and Aileen Mack each had an assist. Mary Clare Gentile and Jenna Reilly contributed defensively, while Carly Ryan had a save.

Celina Rescott had a goal for Chile, while Jillian Ferrara had an assist. Bridget Cuddy finished with three saves. Jamie MacBain and Julia Wagner led the defense.

England 3, Zimbabwe 0

Alexis Bashta led England with two goals, while Lexi Mitchell added a goal. Sarah Musso had an assist and Malaysia Rajaphoumy finished with two saves.

Jordyn Rogofsky and Kaylyn Townsend contributed defensively.

Gabrielle Rizzo finished with three saves. Sarah Hurd and Alivia Wolff led the defensive efforts.

FINGER LAKES MINOR SOCCER LEAGUE

Squirt Division

Byrne Trophy 2, Clickdriven.com 2

Nick Audioun finished with two goals for Byrne. Ashley Erskin had two saves Wednesday.

Billy Graney and Sean Murray each scored a goal for Clickdriven.

Alaina Bates finished with two saves, while Claire Alexander, Celia Mattie and Murray each had a save. Bridget Donnelly and Brianna Sturgill led the defense.

Vitale Dairy Farm 4, Summit Chevrolet 3

Mitchell Walsh led Vitale's with two goals, while Gabe Newton and Ava Mills each had one goal. Jake Powers, Walsh, Jack Bastian and Amber Hall all had one save each.

Caleb Lounsbury, Taylor Loving and Katelyn Stoddard each scored a goal for Summit. Cody Musso led Summit with three saves, while Dylan Napolitano and Gabrielle Lentini each had one save.

ATOM DIVISION

Dello Stritto Appliance 4, Throop Fire Department 3

Abby Guerrette scored two goals to lead Throop's offense. Matt Blumer and Caleb Canino each had one goal. Riley Spingler, Alex Parkolap and KJ Rousseau led the defense.

Amanda Chutty, Olivia Chutty and Kevin Morehouse each had a goal, while Morehouse also had five saves. Nathan Denman led the defense.

JUNIOR DIVISION

DB's Drive In 8, Audion Funeral Home 4

Andrew Forward led DB's with six goals and an assist. Jake Blumer also had a hat trick along with an assist. Brandon Look had nine saves, while Emma Bergerstock and Jon Gross led the defense.

Dan Snyder and Dan O'Hara each scored two goals. John Germano and Harry Green led the defense, while Coty Abraham had a team-high 11 saves and Shelby Gollaro finished with three.
