Box Lacrosse: Brannigan has three goals in box lax win

Bob Brannigan led Balloon's/Jacobs Press to a 13-9 win over The Blarney Stone in the Summer Box Lacrosse League game Monday. Brannigan finished with three goals, while BJ Simmons, Mike Fandrich, Matt Hoey, Brian Hoey and Kevin Festa each had two goals. Scott Blauvelt finished with seven saves.
Dan Didio and Seamus Rhodes led The Blarney Stone with three goals each, while Eric LaDouce had two goals. Eric Tinti also scored one goal. David Walsh had eight saves.

Ruscio's Barber 31, RG Wright Agency 6

Mike Collins, Ryan Lewis, Jack Redmond, Kevin Nolan and Joe Taylor each led Ruscio's with four goals. Chris Daly, JT Pitchard and Brian Rhodes finished with three goals apiece. Dan Giannonne had two goals. Pat Cameron finished with seven saves.

Brandon Redmond and Phil Cooper each had two goals to lead RG, while Jack Taylor and Josh Ely each had one goal.

Carovail/Tinker's 27, Team Quiznos 8

Mike Distler and Mike Mincini led Tinker's with four goals each. Chris Brimm, Jim Mizro, Joe Villano and Mike Villano each scored three goals apiece. Bill Ashby and Mike Mackay had two goals each, while Nick Musso rounded out the scoring with one goal. Dave Mizro finished with nine saves.

Brian Church led Team Quiznos with four saves. Toly Capocefelo and Mike Galka each had two goals. Scott Blauvelt had seven saves.

Team Miller Time 26, Spartans 18

Mike Tesorio led Team Miller Time with eight goals. Brendan O'Connor and Ryan Cuddy each had five goals, while Matt Clancy and Dan Clare had four goals apiece. Scott Blauvelt had 11 saves.

Grant Krystofik led Spartans with 11 goals. Chris Green had three and Alex Lewis and Nick VanWie each had two. Mark Green finished with eight saves.

Springside Inn 21, Welch-Allyn 6

Andrew Chadderdon led Springside Inn with seven goals. Connor Entenmann had five and Matt Festa scored four goals. JT Foltz and Brian Petrosino each scored two goals and Bill Scala rounded out the offense with one goal. Adam Perri had nine saves.

Jeff Hanno and Mark Lattimore each had two goals to lead Welch-Allyn's offense. Fran Cunningham and Rob Spencer each scored one goal. Jeff Handley saved nine shots.
