Limbaugh should be charged with treason

Thursday, July 9, 2009 11:45 PM EDT

Rush Limbaugh has publicly called for foreign troops to overthrow the government. Mr. Limbaugh is guilty of violating the Sedition and Treason Act.
If a working class man or woman did that, the FBI would be at their door in under an hour with a federal warrant.

But Limbaugh won't be arrested; there is a double standard in this country when it comes to the politically connected.

" From what I've been able to find, it's a far stretch. But then again anything to take the focus away from Obama's spending , taking over everything he can, expanding the government, and hiring crooks. I don't think we will need foreign troops. "

" Ronnie, please enlighten the legislatively challenged among us. EXACTLY how does the Sedition and Treason Act read and how does it apply to Mr. Limbaugh? The FBI at my door in under an hour? Hey, we're talking the Government here, not Dominoe's Pizza. "

" It's his absolute and patriotic right to call for the overthrow of the government:

"But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government...."
