WHITE PLAINS - A New York attorney and former state Senate aide has admitted in court that he had child pornography on his computer.
Robert Groezinger pleaded guilty Tuesday in White Plains to a federal charge of possessing child porn. The 53-year-old lawyer from Patterson was ordered jailed until his Oct. 27 sentencing.
The maximum sentence he would face is 10 years in prison, but federal guidelines generally result in a shorter sentence.
Groezinger was fired after his arrest in October as a part-time aide to state Sen. Serphim Maltese. Maltese was defeated for re-election in November.
