The Weedsport football team and the Port Byron field hockey team have already secured spots in Section III title games to be played this week, while two other local teams remain alive in the postseason.
Weedsport (9-0) will play defending champion Westmoreland (9-0) for the Class D title at 5 p.m. Friday at the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.
Port Byron will play for the Class D field hockey crown against No. 1 Little Falls at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Rome Free Academy.
The Skaneateles boys soccer team still has a chance to defend its Section III title, as the Lakers play Clinton in the Class C semifinals at 7 p.m. Wednesday in Chittenango. The Auburn girls soccer team has a Class AA semifinal with Fayetteville-Manlius at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday night in Marcellus.
