Roll Call's At The Races blog reported early Tuesday that a Republican poll shows U.S. Rep. Ann Marie Buerkle, R-Onondaga Hill, with a slight lead over Dan Maffei, her Democratic opponent.

Buerkle leads Maffei 42 percent to 38 percent, with 20 percent undecided, according to Roll Call.

The poll was conducted by McLaughlin and Associates. According to the firm's political campaigns page, Buerkle is a client along with 20 Republican members of Congress, including U.S. Rep. Richard Hanna, R-Barneveld.

More details about the poll weren't immediately available.
