"Always remember your inner 3 year old." - Sean McLeod

While leading a "Tolerance of Others Through Movement" workshop at the Montessori School of the Finger Lakes, New York Institute of Dance and Education Product Director Kierstyn Zaykoski encouraged all people participate - students, parents, and staff. This is for many reasons; first, youth never learn the act of learning properly without someone to look up to. Additionally, by having the adults learn something that was outside of their comfort zone, it gave them an opportunity to feel silly and to overcome such an obstacle as worrying about being judged. Kierstyn pointed out this fear of "being silly" and encouraged them to watch the younger participants engaging in the activity without fear. A powerful learning tool. Remembering your 3-year-old allows you to learn and grow much faster! Are you ready this #MTMonday?
