Cloud Catchers winners

From left, Emily Gannetti, Marlena Doerle and Jack Noga hold the print editions of The Citizen in which their Cloud Catchers winners appear. The three received art kits on Monday because their submissions were selected as the best for the months in which they were published.

Three Port Byron elementary students received art kits Monday for Cloud Catchers pictures they created for The Citizen's weather page.

All three students are from A.A. Gates Elementary School.

Fourth-grader Jack Noga was honored for her drawing published March 20. Second-grader Marlena Doerle's picture appeared in the April 22 issue. Third-grader Emily Gannetti's artwork was printed May 9.

For each month of published Cloud Catchers drawings, The Citizen selects one winner of an 80-piece Crayola art kit.

Pictures can be mailed to The Citizen, 25 Dill St., Auburn, N.Y. 13021, or emailed as an image attachment to citizennews@lee.net. We ask that they include name, age, school, class year and phone number with any submissions. Teachers can send a packet of drawings on behalf of their classes.

The photos are published on page A2 in The Citizen's print edition and online in the monthly Cloud Catchers gallery.
