Maryse debuts on the season 6 premiere of "Total Divas."

A few new WWE superstars will join the cast of the E! reality show "Total Divas" when its seventh season premieres this fall.

It will surprise no one that Brie and Nikki Bella lead the cast. The sisters have been main cast members since the show's inception. Fellow WWE superstar Natalya is also back for the seventh season. She, too, has been on the show's main cast since its debut.

After the Bella Twins and Natalya, there are only three returning main cast members: Maryse, Naomi and Lana. Maryse and Lana were newcomers last season. Naomi has been on the show since season one, but had a guest role in season five before returning to the main cast last season.

Three new members of WWE's women's division will join the show. Alexa Bliss, Carmella and Nia Jax will be part of the main cast when season seven premieres.

The trio will replace three WWE superstars who have been removed from the main cast. The least surprising departure is Paige, who was a cast member for four seasons. She's been suspended twice by WWE and is reportedly injured. She has also been dealing with some personal turmoil recently. Her relationship with former WWE superstar Alberto Del Rio doesn't help her.

After six seasons, WWE is pulling the plug on the Eva Marie experiment. She was one of the main cast members since the series premiere. But she, too, was suspended by WWE and hasn't been viewed the same way since. WWE had high hopes for her. It just didn't work out. It's unclear what, if any, role she'll have on the show going forward.

The most surprising of the cuts is Renee Young, mainly because she still has a role with WWE and is friends with many of the cast members. We'll likely still see her throughout season seven, but it won't be as part of the main cast. That's a shame. It means we won't get some classic moments with her and Dean Ambrose.

What's notable about the additions and subtractions is who you won't see on the show, at least in any sort of main, guest or recurring role. WWE's Four Horsewomen — Sasha Banks, Bayley, Charlotte and Becky Lynch — haven't appeared on the show.

Banks once said that the show isn't for her and that she'll never appear on the reality series. Bayley has made a cameo on the show training with Nikki Bella, but that's the extent of her reality show experience.

Outside any brief cameo appearances, Charlotte and Becky Lynch haven't appeared on the show either.

The announcement regarding season seven coincides with the return of "Total Bellas," which will premiere Sept. 6.
