At this time last year, I approached WrestleMania with the attitude of someone slowly being driven off a cliff, seeing the inevitable from so far away and wishing for a change of fate until the weightlessness took over.

Melodramatic? Absolutely. But you get the point: WrestleMania 29 sucked, and the four hours for which it sucked felt almost as long as the four months for which we knew it was going to suck.

This year is a bit different. Right now, the WrestleMania XXX card rumors are more unstable than Big Show on a circus trike.

Let's start with John Cena. It's most recently been rumored that he'll wrestle Bray Wyatt in what would be a monumental first WrestleMania match for the young hillbilly to have.

But at one point or another over the past few months, Cena's opponent has also been floated as being Triple H, Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan and probably even Jinder Mahal. Bryan, meanwhile, could also face Triple H or even the retired Shawn Michaels, or team with CM Punk to wrestle DX. Then there's the Undertaker, who's been speculated to put his legendary 21-0 WrestleMania winning streak on the line against Brock Lesnar, Sheamus, or some form of the men who took him out in April, the Shield.

There are many wild new variables, too. Because Orton became the unified WWE World Heavyweight Champion this month, he or the man who holds that title has got a date with the Royal Rumble winner, who no longer has a choice whom he challenges.

Speaking of the Royal Rumble winner, he's been pegged as none other than Batista, who returns to WWE in January — just in time to shake up the picture even more.

Yeah, some of these match-ups are more likely than others. Sure, we can feel a little confident fantasy-booking the big event. But we're still clueless what we'll see at the next WrestleMania — very, very happily clueless.
