Milk plant selects design/build contractor

Cayuga Milk Ingredients has selected EMCOR Group Inc. subsidiary Shambaugh & Son as the design/build contractor for its new manufacturing facility in Aurelius.

Shambaugh & Son, based in Indiana, will oversee design and construction of the 110,000-square-foot evaporator and dryer vertically integrated manufacturing facility. It will also direct the installation of its process equipment and utilities. The work will include construction management, as well as management and performance of architectural, civil, structural, process, mechanical, electrical and plumbing disciplines.

“We’re delighted we were selected to provide the wide range of services required for this complex new facility for Cayuga," said Mark Shambaugh, president and CEO of Shambaugh & Son, in a press release. “The diverse experience of Shambaugh’s seasoned personnel enables us to provide the expertise and breadth of skills required to meet the demanding specifications of this project."
