Auburn Public Theater will start its 2018 comedy schedule Saturday, Jan. 13, with the Emmy Award-winning Judy Gold.

Gold's credits include specials on HBO and Comedy Central; writing and performing in critically acclaimed off-Broadway shows "The Judy Show: My Life as a Sitcom" and "25 Questions for a Jewish Mother," and appearances on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," "Inside Amy Schumer," "30 Rock" and more. She won two Emmys for writing and producing on "The Rosie O'Donnell Show."

Opening the show will be Madelein Smith, of Rochester.

The show begins at 8 p.m. at the theater, 8 Exchange St., Auburn. 

Tickets are $15 advance, $17 at the door and $10 student rush.
