❆ Fifth annual Festival of Trees

WHAT: Display of more than 100 trees big and small, lit and unlit, modern and old-fashioned.

❆ 24th annual Dickens Christmas

WHAT: Street festival featuring Queen Victoria, Ebenezer Scrooge and other characters from Charles Dickens' time and works, as well as singalongs, scenes from "A Christmas Carol," horse-drawn wagon and carriage rides, comedy juggling shows, a snowman building contest, interaction with the characters and more.

WHEN: Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 23, finale noon to 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 24

❆ Candlelight Tours

WHAT: Costumed guides will lead guests through the museum, decorated for a 19th century holiday, while telling stories about Seward Christmas traditions from the family's letters and diaries. Concludes with caroling around the 1872 Steinway piano.
