Chad Reeves scored two goals to lead the Southern Cayuga boys soccer team to a 4-0 win over Groton on Tuesday.

Jake Stephenson and Steve Farkas also scored twice, while Antonio Valdez had an assist.

Dylon Conklin had two saves in the win.

Southern Cayuga (3-8-1) heads to Moravia on Monday.

Trumansburg 5, Union Springs/Port Byron 1: Union Springs/Port Byron's Tyler Ross opened the scoring on a pass from Mitch Lepianka, but Trumansburg, ranked 15th in the state, tied the game by halftime and scored three times in the second half.

Meyson Paz finished with 18 saves.

Union Springs/Port Byron (4-7) hosts top-ranked Lansing Thursday.

Marcellus 3, Jordan-Elbridge 0: The Eagles' Maxwell Bondgren made eight saves in the loss.


Skaneateles 7, Westhill 0: The Lakers better their record to 11-0.

Katelyn Ellison won the first singles match (6-0, 6-2), Angela Krause was victorious in the second singles match (6-2, 6-3), and Olivia Gage won the third singles match (6-4, 6-1).

Grace Magee and Makenzi Herbst topped Westhill in the first doubles match (6-0, 6-1), Alaina Davis and Elizabeth Belinski won the second doubles match (6-0, 6-2), Maddy Pinkney and Maura McNeil were victorious in the third doubles match (6-0, 6-2) and Makenzie Keller and Mary McNeil finished the sweep (6-3, 6-4).

Auburn 5, Liverpool 2: The Maroons' Julia Wagner blanked her opponent in the first singles match (6-0, 6-0). Lauryn Husby won the second singles match (6-1, 6-1) and Jenna Jarman was victorious in the third singles match (6-0, 6-0).

Natalie Herlihy and Celia Mattie won the second doubles match (6-2, 6-2), and Sarah Wansor and Anna Spin won the fourth doubles match (3-6, 6-3, 6-1).


Southern Cayuga 3, Groton 1: The Chiefs dropped the first set 25-18, but won the next three 25-19, 25-16 and 25-12.

Marlee Harris had 13 aces and three kills, while Alexis Medina registered 15 kills. Haley Reynolds chipped in nine assists, Maria White added five assists and three aces, and Kelsie Emerson recorded five aces and three kills. Lilly Morales added two digs.

Union Springs 3, Moravia 0: The Wolves won in straight sets; 25-23, 25-15, 25-11.

Union Springs' Taylor Gilbert had six assists, five points, two aces and two kills, while Madelyn Henry had nine points, three aces and two assists. Chealse Morath added seven kills, a block and an ace.

Moravia's Autumn Wells had three kills and two aces, Emily Toti had three aces and two kills, and Jasmine Pooler registered four assists.

Union Springs JV also won 2-1.

Boys Golf

Auburn 208, Syracuse 238: Nick Mitchell and Andrew Marangola each shot 40s to lead the Maroons in their final regular season match.

Tyler Weslowski carded a 41, Ryan Chalupnicki shot a 43 and Tom Alexander chipped in a 44.

Auburn (13-6) has eight players competing in sectionals Wednesday.

Boys Cross Country

Trumansburg 24, Marathon 36, Moravia 73, Lansing 100: Dylan Canavan led the Blue Devils by placing 13th (21:43).

Austin Mead placed 16th (21:54), Ryan Sawyer followed in 17th (21:58), Colyn Stewart came in 19th (22:13), Brandon Damico finished 21st (23:01) and Brandon Tvaroha placed 24th (23:52).

Moravia runs in the IAC Division II championship at Groton Tuesday.

Women's Field Hockey

Marywood 6, Wells 1: Cat Taylor scored the lone Express goal, and Sydney Line made 10 saves.

Wells (3-8) hosts Nazareth Sunday.
