Orientation and application interviews will be held Wednesday, Sept. 20, for Job Corps orientation for 16- to 24-year-olds in Auburn.
The program offers free career technical training in auto mechanics, auto body repair, medical and business office work, construction, culinary arts and other fields. It includes up to two years of education and training, campus housing, meals and other services.
There is no cost to eligible students; both high school graduates and non-graduates can apply. A student can also earn an equivalency degree at the same time they train for a career at Job Corps.
Interviews will be held at 11 a.m. at the Cayuga Works Career Center, Suite 208, 199 Franklin St., Auburn.
