The Auburn Police Department is reminding the public that alternate-side parking will begin on Monday, Nov. 15 and remain in effect year-round.

Under the new alternate-side parking regulations, cars need to be on the even side of the street at 6:30 p.m. on even days and on the odd side of the street at 6:30 p.m. on odd days.

Parking will not be enforced for a one-hour period between 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. each day.

The police department will issue warning notices during the first three days of the new regulations and will begin ticketing vehicles for parking on the wrong side of the street when that three-day period ends.
