A 22-year-old Auburn man is facing a felony charge after police said he punched a woman.
Dustin S. Curtis, of 8 Steel St., Auburn, was arrested around 10 a.m. Thursday after the Auburn Police Department said he engaged in a domestic dispute with a 26-year-old woman. The woman did not suffer any major injuries, police added.
The woman had an order of protection against Curtis, however, stipulating that he was not allowed to harass her. The order did not require him to stay away from her, according to APD.
Curtis was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, a class E felony and second-degree harassment, a violation. He was arraigned Thursday in Auburn City Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail without bail.
