The Auburn Police Department is looking for a 16-year-old girl who apparently left Cayuga Centers Tuesday afternoon and has not returned.

The girl, Tamira Madison, was last seen walking toward Lake Avenue from Cayuga Centers, 101 Hamilton Avenue. She was wearing a black sweatshirt and slippers.

According to a description from the police Madison is black, approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, 138 pounds, with brown eyes, black hair and a tattoo of a star below her right ear.

Madison is from Rochester, and police believe she may have returned there. Anyone with information can call 911 or the APD at 253-3231 or 255-4706. Calls can remain anonymous.
