Two Auburn sex offenders are facing felony charges after allegedly failing to report their new addresses within 10 days.
The Auburn Police Department said 62-year-old Wayne G. Bresee, a Level 1 sex offender, did not provide notification that he had moved from 3 Pine St. to 170 Murray St., Apt. S3 in the city. Similarly, 41-year-old Roderick G. Henry II, a Level 2 sex offender, did not report his change of address from 13 Garrow St. to 50 Delevan St.
Bresee was picked up on an arrest warrant Oct. 25 and charged with a sex registry violation, a class E felony. He was arraigned Thursday in Auburn City Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He's scheduled back in court on Nov. 1.
Henry was also picked up on an arrest warrant Oct. 25 and charged with the same class E felony. He, too, was arraigned and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail on Thursday, though on $5,000 cash or bond. He's also scheduled to appear in court on Nov. 1.
