Easton Friedel is home again after a short stay in a Syracuse hospital.
Baby Easton was hospitalized Sunday after he stopped breathing, according to the Support baby Easton Friedel Facebook page. His condition improved over the last couple of days and was released from Upstate University Hospital this afternoon.
Baby Easton was born on Aug. 23 and spent the first three months of his life in a Cincinnati hospital. He was born with a rare skin disease, epidermolysis bullosa.
Easton returned home to Weedsport on Nov. 23 -- one day after Thanksgiving.
A fundraiser for Easton will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. tonight at the Palace Theatre in Syracuse. The money raised from the event will go to the Friedel family to help cover medical care and expenses.
