A fundraiser for Easton Friedel, a 3-month-old baby from Weedsport suffering from a rare skin disease, will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, at the Palace Theatre, 2384 James St., Syracuse. All proceeds from the event will go to the Friedel family to help offset ongoing medical care and expenses.

After spending the first few months of his life in hospitals, Easton is now home in Weedsport, but will require extensive and expensive medical care and supplies for the rest of his life.

According to a news release, admission to the fundraiser is $15 per person, or $25 per couple. Children 12 and under are free. Hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.

Syracuse-based recording artist “Just Joe” will perform live during the event. The event will also include a large silent auction with unique items and services donated by area businesses.

Donations can also be made directly to the Friedel family by visiting Easton’s official Facebook page
