The Cayuga Economic Development Agency announced its annual Economic Forecast Luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn.
Keynote speakers are Workforce Development Institute's Vivian Benton, the deputy director, and David Goodness, central New York regional director. They will discuss the issues and trends with workforce development across the state, according to a CEDA press release. CEDA Executive Director Tracy Verrier will also give a presentation exploring local and regional economic trends across various industries. Guests will also receive a copy of CEDA’s 2017 Annual Report.
"This year’s luncheon will be a special opportunity for our local businesses to hear from industry experts about how other businesses have faced challenges and what opportunities are available," according to the press release.
Doors open at 11:30 a.m. There is a $40 event fee and a buffet-style lunch will be served. Those interested in attending can register at cayugaeda.org.
