A city employee was suspended after she was arrested and accused of hiding public documents in her home.

Jessica M. Mosley, of 84 Grant Ave., Auburn, was recently charged with second-degree tampering with public records, a misdemeanor. According to Auburn City Court records, Mosley, a keyboard specialist for Auburn's Code Enforcement Office, is accused of removing certified mail return receipts from Memorial City Hall and concealing them in her garage.

City Manager Douglas Selby said that although Mosley was still employed by the Code Enforcement Office, she is currently suspended. He declined to comment further.

District Attorney Jon Budelmann was not immediately available for comment.
