The Cayuga County Natural Resource Center is inviting local families to once again trade in their holiday trees for new saplings.

Throughout January, Cayuga County residents are invited to participate in the county's annual "Trade-A-Tree" program by dropping off their unwanted Christmas trees in exchange for free Balsm Fir transplants.

Trees can be dropped off at the Cayuga County Natural Resource Center, 7413 County House Road, Sennett from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Jan. 18.
