An Auburn man has been charged with two felonies following an investigation by the Finger Lakes Drug Task Force, police said.
According to the Auburn Police Department, Damien M. Smith was arrested around 11 a.m. Friday after officers executed a search warrant at 228 Genesee St. Apt. 1. Police said two adults and two children were located inside the residence, where officers recovered powder and crack cocaine.
Smith was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class B felony. The 24-year-old was also charged with second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation.
Police said more charges may be forthcoming.
