ROCHESTER, N.Y. (AP) - Police say a 16-year-old boy has died after being shot in the head during an argument on a Rochester street corner.

Authorities say two groups were arguing at an intersection on the city's northeast side late Thursday afternoon when someone started shooting.

The victim, Javont Williams, who was a week shy of his 17th birthday, was shot once in the head. Police say he died early Friday at a Rochester hospital.

No one has been arrested.

Williams is the city's 11th homicide victim this year.
