The Cayuga County Sheriff's Office said in an email Friday that Noah Cannon of Locke has been located and is safe.
Cannon was considered an overdue motorist Thursday evening after missing an appointment earlier in the day at a Syracuse hospital.
Authorities say Cannon has been located safe and is home without incident.

Noah V. Cannon, 89, of Route 90, Locke, missed an appointment at University Hospital Thursday morning and has not been seen or heard from by family since.
He is a white male, blue eyes, white hair and balding, 5-foot-9 and weighs 200 lbs.
The sheriff's offcie said he would have likely traveled from Locke to Homer and then taken I-81 to University Hospital. He also has family at the Groton Nursing Facility in Groton.
He would be operating a 2003 four-door gray Chevy Malibu with New York registration ASY7057.
