•  Smoke odor condition: 1 (1 burned food)

•  False alarm: 2 (1 accidental, 1 malfunction)

•  Investigations: 3 (3 good intent)

•  Hazardous condition: 5 (2 gas odor/leak, 3 wires down)

•  Mutual aid: 1 (received from Fleming Ambulance)

•  AFD personnel took part in 93 hours of documented training this week: 12 hours of apparatus driving, operations and maintenance; 8 hours of in-service inspections; 11 hours of personal safety and protection; 19 hours of fire prevention; 14 hours of aerial ladders and elevated streams; 12 hours of fire streams and hydraulics

•  Officers attending building safety inspectors course

•  Fire Safety tours at Station 1 and various schools

•  All companies and platoons doing yearly building inspections

•  Two new probationary firefighters passed New York state EMT practical training at New York State Fire Academy

•  One officer is attending First Line Supervisors Training Program

•  All platoons getting computer-aided dispatch and fire reporting training on new Spillman computer-aided dispatch and red alert systems.

•  AFD personnel taught classes in Cayuga County, at the New York State Fire Academy and across the state.
