AUBURN — Cynthia M. Fasce, 69, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017 peacefully surrounded with her family at The Commons on St. Anthony, Auburn.
A lifelong resident, she was born on Oct. 2, 1948, the daughter of Eugene and Mary Marion Wylie Fasce. Cindy was a graduate of St. Alphonsus Parochial Grammar School and Mt. Carmel High School. After graduation from Cayuga Community College, she began employment with the New York Telephone Company. Cindy retired with 25 years of service from Verizon. Her career continued in customer service at M&T Bank, retiring this year with 20 years of service. Cindy was a member of St. Alphonsus Church, a loyal fan of the Buffalo Bills and a dog lover all her life.
Surviving are her brother James and his wife, Julie Fasce, of Auburn; nieces, Blair Freeman, of Rockville, Md., and Caitlin Mashaw and her husband, Maynard, of Lowville, N.Y.; nephews, Christian and his wife, Kayla Fasce, of North Syracuse, and Kellen and his wife, Cheyanne Fasce, of North Syracuse; sister-in-law, Sharon Fasce, of North Syracuse; an aunt, Dorothy W. Keough, of Auburn; and several cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents and brother Robert Fasce.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Alphonsus Church with Pastor Rev. Timothy Niven as celebrant. Interment will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, 2017 at Farrell’s Funeral Service, Inc., 84 South St., Auburn.
Memorials may be remembered to either the St. Alphonsus Food Pantry or the Finger Lakes SPCA.
