SKANEATELES — David Johns, 56, of Skaneateles, passed away Nov. 3, 2017.
He is survived by his loving wife, Amy, and his three children from a previous marriage, Danielle, Ashley and Mathew. David is also survived by his two sisters, Donna (Marty) Corcoran, of Auburn (Florida), and Bonnie (Phillip) Woodman, of Auburn; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Nelson F. Johns; mother, Arlene (Johns) Lamphere; stepfather, Frank Lamphere; sister, Sharon (Jack) Stryker; his brothers, Jimmy and Terry Johns, and his beloved dogs, Jake and Pongo.
David worked for many years at Summit Ford. Always quick with a joke, David loved to make people laugh. He was a Miami Dolphins fan. Riding his Harley Davidson brought him great joy. David loved all animals and loved to watch scary movies with his sister, Bonnie. A huge Beatles fan, his favorite song was “Let It Be.”
Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2017 at White Chapel Funeral Home Inc., 197 South St., Auburn. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday in Sacred Heart Church, with burial to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Auburn.
