AUBURN | Dawn Michele Asmann Irving, 40, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2014 following a long illness.

She was born in Auburn on Nov. 16, 1973, to Keith and Bonnie Asmann, and remained a life resident. She attended Auburn High School and worked in the area.

In addition to her parents, Dawn leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Bill; her children, Alyssa and Brandon; her sister, Wendy (Don); brother, Josh, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Dawn enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, shopping, gardening, and the outdoors.

At Dawn's request, she will be buried alongside her grandmother, Margaret Meyers, who predeceased her in 2004.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Pettigrass Funeral Home, 196 Genesee St., Auburn. Services and burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dawn's honor to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

    Thoughts and prayers to family and friends of both the Asmann's and the Irving's for the loss of your daughter. Dawn was a fun loving person with a heart of gold. Definitely someone that will never be forgotten.

    Bonnie and Keith....I'm so sorry to hear that you lost your daughter. Even though we haven't spoken in too many years, the memories we share of those days back when we hung out and . had our babies 45 + years ago, I can't wrap my brain around how it must feel to lose a child. Doesn't matter if they are 4 days, 4 months, 4 years or 40 years, I'm so sorry.
