AUBURN — John R. Lusk Jr., 70, husband of the late Trudy Head Lusk, died Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018 at Homestead at Soldiers and Sailors, Penn Yan.
A native of Auburn, John was a veteran, having served with the U.S. Army. He retired as a technician from AT&T in Syracuse. John was an avid golfer, followed Syracuse basketball and loved listening to classic rock music. He enjoyed his time spent with family, especially his K9 family Beau, Tanner, Rosie and Peanut
John is survived by his son, Marc Lusk, of Cambodia; daughter, Amy Jorolemon and her husband, Chris, of Weedsport; a brother, A. Thomas Lusk, of Auburn; grandchildren, Gabriella Barrigar, of Colorado, Logan Barrigar, of Weedsport and Alison Jorolomon, of Weedsport; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Trudy, John was predeceased by his parents, John R. Sr. and Grace "Millie" LaMay Lusk.
Calling hours for John will be conducted from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Jan. 12, in the Cheche Funeral Home Inc., 1778 Clark Street Road, Auburn. A service will be held at 7 p.m. in the funeral home, immediately following calling hours.
