DACULA, Ga. — Michelle Westover Montalbano, 50, of Dacula, Ga., and formerly of Auburn, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in Savannah, Ga.
Michelle, born in Auburn on April 12, 1967, was the daughter of Frederick (Sharon) Westover and Maryanne Mitchell Westover. She was a graduate of Skaneateles High School and attended Sullivan Community College. She was a store manager at Sherwin Williams in Brazelton, Ga., where she won Top Sales Manager in 2016. She was a very hard working and dedicated employee for the company.
Michelle loved her cooking shows, and was always trying new recipes. She loved working out at the gym and coming home after a long day to her cats, and enjoying her evenings on her patio. She enjoyed her trips to Florida on vacation to spend time with family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Michelle is survived by her son, Christopher Montalbano, of Decatur, Ga.; her siblings, Frederick Westover Jr., of Georgia, Michael (Barbara) Westover, of Union Springs, Pamela Cartner, of Auburn, and David (Shirley) Cartner, of Marcellus. She also leaves many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with her lifelong friend, Wendy Duryea, of Savannah, Ga.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Fleming. Friends are invited to call on the family from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St., Auburn.
