AUBURN — Rev. Wesley C. Bogart, 89, of Auburn, passed away on March 11, 2018 at the Commons on St. Anthony. He was the son of the late Clinton and Estele Graham Bogart.
Wesley graduated from East High School, class of 1946. Wesley was the pastor of the Fleming Federated Church from 1995 to 2000, Port Byron Community Church from 2000 to 2002 and the Hannibal Community Church. He also worked as a staff manager for the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and prior to that as an agent for seven years. Wesley finished his working career for Welch Allyn as a quality auditor for 11 years.
Wesley was 32 Degree Mason, past master of the Auburn Lodge 1964, and a Grand Lodge Chaplin of the state of New York. He also enjoyed volunteering for the Scat Van as a driver in his retirement years.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Smith Bogart, of Auburn; two daughters, Debra (Gary) Saville, and Lisa (Timothy) Corfield; two stepsons, Ronald (Doreen) Pullen, and Roger (Pam) Pullen; grandchildren, Jason Saville, David Saville, Cassandra (Albert) Kemp, and Allan (Haley) Klimek; step-grandchildren, Shawn Fay, Thomas (Sarah) Corfield, Liam Corfield, Rych (Carla) Pullen, Rachel Pullen, and Renee (Adam) Schneider; great-grandchildren, Nathan Stoelzel, Gavin and Carter Kemp, Sophie Klimek, and Allen (Chelsea) Pullen; step great-grandchildren, Makenna and Alysia Kemp, Charles Corfield, and Jackson Pullen.
In addition to his parents, Wesley was predeceased by his daughter, Penny Fay.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Brew Funeral Home, 48 South St., Auburn, with a Masonic service. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
