Stephanie M. Herman-Ward

LOCKE | Stephanie M. Herman-Ward, 31, of Route 90, Locke, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2013 at her home, after a long battle with leukemia.

Stephanie was born March 13, 1982 in Auburn, and was a lifelong resident of southern Cayuga County.

Stephanie was formerly employed at Planned Parenthood of Ithaca since 2004. She enjoyed working there and would always call them her second family!

She was a daughter of Carol (Herman) Reeves and her stepfather, (James) Robert Reeves, and sister of Caitlyn S. Reeves, all of Venice Center, mother of Logan J. Hastings, of Scipio Center, and recently, wife of Scott Ward, of Locke (married Dec. 8, 2013). She is also survived by grandparents, Marion and Dean Winspear, of King Ferry, step-grandparents, Robert and Susanne Perkins, of Genoa, and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Can't believe your really gone Steph :( I keep thinking I'm going to wake up from this bad dream and u will still be here. I miss texting u good morning every morning! It's been such a habit for so many years :( and now I have to force myself not to. I know your in a better place Bc your not suffering any longer but I'm missing u like crazy! I will forever miss u my friend <3
