The Union Springs Central School District once again has a complete board of education after the board appointed Barry Schwarting to fill the vacant seat of Ted O'Hara, who resigned over the summer for personal reasons.

Schwarting will serve the remainder of O'Hara's term, which is up in 2013. Schwarting can then run for a full, three-year term in the May 2013 election.

Schwarting was sworn in at the board's Sept. 17 meeting.

You should also include that during the meeting that they voted to appoint Barry Schwarting to fill Ted O'Hara's seat that Dr. Dale Ottosen resigned effective in November, I believe, and Daniel Testa was chosen to fill that seat.
